Hello, my name is Kelsey Wood and I am a PhD student in the Integrative Genomics and Genetics Graduate Group at University of California, Davis. I believe that science communication is critically important to ensure funding for research and to propagate the broader impacts of research to the community. I am active in K-12 outreach and I hope to encourage the next generation, especially women and underrepresented minorities, to pursue careers in STEM.
